If you are an Internet Explorer user, we recommend you switching to another browser that follows web standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), such as Firefox, Netscape, Opera, or Safari. The Grand Tour is designed specifically to the W3C standards, and IE may not properly display our website. Please be advised that our XHTML layout (version 5.1) will not be supported by Internet Explorer by default. If you wish to continue to use Internet Explorer, we will provided you a patch that will allow IE to view XHTML documents. Please use this at your own risk, we are not responsible to what happens to your computer.

1. Start --> Run --> Type "regedit". Your registry editor will open, please take note that this data is the very core of your computer and accidentally deleting a value may render your computer obsolete. Please take caution.

2. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT --> MIME --> Database --> Content Type

3. In the "Content Type" folder, right click and select "New" --> "Key". Rename the Key as "application/xhtml+xml".

4. Select the "application/xhtml+xml" folder and in the right panel where it should say "(Default) REG_SZ (value not set)", right click and select "New" --> "String Value". Rename the string as "CLSID".

5. Right click on "CLSID" and select "Modify". In ther area that says "Value data" enter this value: "{25336920-03F9-11cf-8FD0-00AA00686F13}".

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 but with the string of "Encoding" and the value data of "hex:08,00,00,00".

7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 but with the string of "Extension" and the value data of ".xhtml".

8. You're done! You should be able to view .xhtml files with Internet Explorer now.
