Japanese Romaji: Fukkatsu no Fuushon!! Gokuu to Bejiita
English Dub: Fusion Reborn

An industrial disaster in the Yama Realm (or Other World for those following the dub) has unleashed a monumental creature of dominant power know as Janenba, a being with the power to destroy and alter at will! Janenba's arrival has thrown the dimensions into disarray, allowing the path between undone, causing the deceased to rise from their graves. Gokuu must now power to his dynamic SSJ3 form to fight back! But it is not enough! Janenba transforms to a smaller, more nimble version of himself, allowing for quick attacks that can fracture dimensions at ease! As time runs out, Gokuu stumbles across a weary Vegeta and devises a plan that could assure victory or earn them defeat! Teamwork is key as Gokuu and Vegeta have one last hope... Fusion!

I enjoyed this movie. The animation is clear and colorful for the age it carries. The music is nice and sets moods from suspense to humorous in many ways. The script also has a nice touch that really helps Rebirth of Fusion become a great movie, from Paikuuhan's rather humorous insults to Gokuu's verbal excitement over a good fight. A creative movie in many aspects. Let us look at Fusion Reborn in better depth.

Story: 9/10
Nice. Very nice. I admit, Rebirth of Fusion is a welcome return. From Gokuu's powerful SSJ3 and Vegeta's 'reaction' to the idea of Fusion, this feels so much like the Majin Buu Saga. Even the villain, Janenba, feels so much like Majin Buu with his playful nature. Overall, the story lacks 'some' creativity and originality, but is based off of a good story, so do not expect to get bored.

Video Quality: 9/10
Beautiful in many ways. The animation is clear and colorful. The movements are true to DBZ and really adjust you to this wonderful movie. Dated, yes. But considering this came out March 1995 you shouldn't be protesting.

Audio Quality: 8/10
Well, this is about what you would expect from a DBZ movie. Of course, you may notice less attentiveness towards the quality (ranging from the music to the voices). Although you may notice that, it is still worthy for a DBZ movie.

Music Score: 9/10
Beautiful. Like I said, the moods range from suspense, humor, to quick racing action. These may have lower quality, due to lower recording techniques, though you should still find it to be nice and welcome. Avoid the Mute button, you will not want to miss these good DBZ tunes, even though they fall short to the other DBZ movies, they are still classic.

English Dub: 4/10
Do you like the English dub on other DBZ movies and episodes? Then you should like this. However, if you do not, I suggest avoiding this dub (the English DVD can be set to original Japanese). The English dub is known for shoddy voices and music, almost as if they were not aware of the script while acting. And the censorship really detracts points here, such as the tasteless jokes that replace swear words, or the lack of blood. Overall, I would avoid it.

Overall: 8/10
A classic. Even though it does have it's weak points, the paced story and animation keeps it entertaining. In the end, buy it. Thats all I have to say.

Cloud Forever's Suggestions: Get the DVD. If you detest the English dub you can set it to original Japanese. Overall, if you are a big DBZ fan, add this to your collection. Remember, you may not agree with me. You may hate the movie. Use this review as a helpful suggestion more than anything else. Happy viewing!
