Akira Toriyama: “When I was young. I too was cased by a dog. But dogs seem to case things that run away from them, so the next time you see one, it may be better if you walk calmly past it. If you make friends with dogs, they can really loveable. (I know this has nothing to do with Dragonball.)”

Krystyl: WRONG SCRIPT AKIRA! *Sighs, takes the script, and turns to page eleven* “Disclaimer: Dragonball isn’t the property of Krystyl, and neither is your underwear. But Krystyl is Krystyl’s character!”

Chapter III:

Bake Cookies for Thirty Minutes in Stove or Three Minutes in Microwave

A few days have past since I last encountered my clients. Lately they’ve been pretty antsy it getting answers. I would too if a loved one of mine was pushing up daisies. I took this time for resting up a bit, to get my mind off things. Personally I was still a little freaked that my late night “visitor” my come back and this time for me. But so far there wasn’t any sign of him. Today was the last day of my little vacation. I was invited to the Son home for lunch. How exciting, a crazed bitch breathing down my neck. Once again I reached for my coat to go out.

For once, the weather was actually nice! Ever notice that when there’s a mystery there’s always some bad weather that comes along with it? Oh well that doesn’t matter. I invited myself in noticing that the door was open, “Hello?”

“Oh come on in!” a feminine voice called from the kitchen.

It must be nice living in such a secluded area I thought. It was so peaceful, serine, and no one around. That last thought rang it my head, no one around. Could that be yet another clue? Could it be that the killer lives in this house? It makes sense, I mean it would be convenient but then again they might just do that to throw someone off the trail. Mysteries are so mysterious.

I quietly walked into the kitchen to find Chi Chi, Gohan, and Goten setting sandwiches in the center of the table. My Kami-sama there was a lot! How in the hell are we going to eat all those!? The three instantly turned their heads as I entered the room and when they realized they had been staring at me they simply laughed and sat down. I followed their manner.

“So, why did you invite me?” I tried to break the ice that had frozen over the room like we were in the Antarctic.

Chi Chi sipped a cup of tea before answering, “I don’t know. Maybe, so we can learn some things about the case.”

I must admit I wasn’t giving them any clue on what was going on, so should I spill the beans. If I do and any of these three are the killers I’m in a load of shit. But if I don’t, I’m going to be in some shit anyway. Either way I’m opening a can of worms. So I guess I just tell them any how.

Since I have told them what had been going on, they stared at me in awe. Barely any of the food was touched. Gohan and Goten only blinked but Chi Chi had something to say, “Oh you poor thing! I can’t believe anyone would break into your home like that! Are you sure you’re okay?” (a/n: Awww… They care about me!) Unexpectedly I found Chi Chi wrapping her arms around me for a gentle hug. I was so shocked I thought my eyes were going to pop out of their sockets!

While Goten started nibbling on one of the sandwiches Gohan joined in the concern, “You know you should have one of us be a type of body guard for you. Not to be rude, but you are pretty weak and could be easily disposed of.”

“Thanks but I think I’ll be okay,” I had to recline to the offer. No be honest I couldn’t trust any of them, not now anyway. Any one of these people could be the murderer. And just what I need is a bodyguard that just so happens to be a psycho killer.

“Are you sure about that? We don’t want anything to happen to you,” Goten said in a strange tone as he finished his fifth sandwich.

Suspiciously I replied with a hint of instinctual defense, “Yes, I’m sure.”

“’Cause you know I’m glad Gohan was around when the night of the incident, because that killer might’ve come back to the house to get us all,” Goten added while shoving yet another sandwich into his mouth.

Does he have a bottomless pit stomach or what? Wait a minute! “Gohan was here the night of the attack?”

“Yes, why is that so important? Every once in a while he comes and visits from his family to help around the house,” Chi Chi concluded.

“Well it’s just you never told me about that little piece of information, that’s all,” I calmly stated, “Well it looks like I’ve got to go now, it’s been good.” I had just noticed what time it was. Gohan and Chi Chi took their eyes to travel to their right just to see that Goten had eaten all the food. And they were a little pissed. I stood up saying my farewells when I left the house I suddenly heard screaming that sounded like a banshee! I guess Chi Chi was pissed after all!

So that concludes another day in the life of me! (a/n: It’s one of my phrases that I say a lot okay?) And even more too look under. But what will happen next? Keep that reading lamp on for the next chapter of “Who Took the Cookies from the Cookie Jar?”!
