Krystyl: *Snatches Akira’s pencil and draws a cage around him* Say it! Also, I’m sorry, but I had to do it. Please don’t be offended if a character you like turns out to be the murderer. I will explain why I choose them at the end of the story.

Akira Toriyama: If you haven’t figured out that I own DB/Z/GT and that Krystyl doesn’t you’ll never find out who the killer is.

Who Took the Cookies from the Cookie Jar?

Chapter V:

Cookies Rise in the Heat

I know who the killer was! The killer was… Goten interrupted my trend of thought, “You okay?” Now I only had to bring everyone together to reveal who it was. I clutched the tie and stuffed it in my inside coat pocket. This was only the beginning of an end.

I snapped back to reality, “Yeah, I’m fine. Listen can you do me a favor?”

“And why should I do a favor for you when you haven’t done anything for. And cleaning my Otousan’s things doesn’t count,” he lazily concluded.

“Just do it!” I shouted back at him, which surprisingly surprised Goten. I gave him the evil eye. He took his time to pick up the phone and inform the others.

Before we knew it, everyone was gathered inside the Son home waiting to know you did it. I walked to the center of the living room milking time, “The killer is someone in this very room.” I eyed everyone giving suspicious looks. Then I stopped, bringing out the tie and handing it to the nearest person, “You have a very lovely, blue tie… Gohan.” Everyone in the room gave a confused look as they looked at the tie that was torn on the end. I continued, “The same type of material I found on my wall when I had a certain visitor one night who washed away some of the evidence. The evidence was a thermos containing some unknown substance. That brings us to the next question, what was the substance you say? Well let’s ask Chi Chi, because she sure has a lot of toxic household cleaners in the house that could kill any man.”

Everyone back away from Gohan and Chi Chi, “Just because I have a lot of cleaning supplies doesn’t make me any part of this!”

“Then why were they all empty? And you two seemed to be the only ones around when the killer struck,” I countered, “So why did you do it? I’ve done my researching about all of you and I see it like this. All through Gohan’s life Chi Chi has been forcing him to study, study, study… But through those years of Gokuu dying coming back to life over and over, Chi Chi started to despise him for all the pain he’s put her though. So one day she convinces Gohan to kill his father. But not with fighting, with poison, because if they chose to fight then everyone would sense their Kis and be there before the deed was done, therefore Gohan would be discovered. So Chi Chi makes a poison and gives it to Gohan, Gokuu goes out for a little while, and before you know it Gohan gives the thermos to Gokuu and he drinks it. To make it look like a fight, Gohan then rips up the body and flies off, so people couldn’t find his footprints. The next morning he reports this to the police. Here is where I came in, I found the thermos and brought it home. That night Gohan shows up to get rid of the evidence leaving a piece of his tie. I knew it was him, because he’s a teacher and the only one who seems to wear a tie and the fact that it was hidden in his father’s closet would give another hint. So to make a long story short, Chi Chi brainwashed her son to kill Gokuu.”

Chi Chi suddenly thrashed out at me; luckily there were some strong people there to hold her back. Bulma shot Gohan with a tranquilizer dart just in case. She had brought it knowing that they might need it. About an hour later the police came and took the two away. This was going to be hard to tell Videl and Pan about when they got home from a mother-daughter vacation thing they were on.

“I just have one question,” Bulma stated, “Why didn’t you think it was someone else?”

“Well, the evidence for one, two Vegeta was just too obvious; and three Goten’s just lazy,” I told them.

And so that’s how the case of the “Who Took the Cookies from the Cookie Jar?”. The next week, though, somehow Gokuu came back to life anyway. So I guess I went through all that for nothing. But then there’s always next time. Hey maybe I should make this into a story then put it on Fanfiction.net for all the DBZ fans to read and then they could review it and…. Nahhh….

The End

*******

Sorry for the shortness in it all and for not having the last chapter come out so late you all must be hating me right now. I just didn’t get around to it. When I first started writing this I had to make out who the killer would be, so I imagined the last person that would kill Gokuu and this mental image of Gohan running into his dad’s arms popped up. Later my friend gave me the idea of making Chi Chi a part of the whole thing. Please don’t be angry with me. Oh and can you do me a favor and review?
