“Where am
I?” Chichi looked around wildly, panting with fear she focused on Vegeta and
screamed and scuttled into a corner of the room where she hugged herself and
began to rock slowly back and forth.
“Its ok,
Chichi.” Kakarot walked towards her, his palms out flat as if to show he meant
no harm, as he walked closer Kakarot could hear as her heartbeat started to
slow and she relaxed little by little, “Its ok, your fine, nobody is going to
hurt you.”
Chichi
jumped as he said the word ‘hurt’ and began to shake, her eyes flashing with
anger as she seemed to remember what Kakarot was.
“You…you
bit me!” ChiChi turned to face Vegeta and matched his scowl with one of his
own, “So did you! You’re both monsters!” Chichi bared her teeth and leapt at
Vegeta, managing to slap his face before he knocked her to the floor where she
lay panting again.
“I’m no
more a monster then you are.” Vegeta’s voice was low and emotionless.
Chichi
paused, her mouth opening and closing as she worked out what had happened, she
looked down at her dress and seemed to see the blood splattered across it for
the first time. “You made me vampire?” She looked up at Kakarot; her eyes
watering, “You made me a vampire?” she repeated quietly and stood up slowly,
her arms wrapped around herself.
“I had to,
it was either make you a vampire or kill you and since I found you attractive I
decide that keeping you alive might be the better option.” Kakarot looked
shamefacedly at the ground.
Chichi
turned to look at Bulma and her eyes widened with recognition, “Hey! I know
you! Your Bulma Briefs, the daughter of Dr. Briefs, right?” ChiChi smiled
suddenly, forgetting her earlier angst over being a vampire and walked forward
to grasp Bulma’s hand, “It’s an honour to meet you, even if it is under such
mundane circumstances, as a writer from the Daily Sun I’m quite eager to learn
all about your fathers new invention.”
“You’re a
journalist?” Bulma grinned, “I hate to disappoint you but I don’t think your
going to have a job anymore, I don’t I will either.” Bulma pushed her blue hair
behind her ears and glanced at Kakarot and Vegeta, “They changed me too, but
don’t worry…it isn’t all bad. In a way being a vampire if like being reborn
again in a stronger, faster and much more sensitive body.” Bulma raised her
eyes and looked into Vegeta’s, “The only downside is the whole blood drinking
part.”
“I don’t
want to kill people and drink their blood.” Chichi looked at the two men on the
floor with horror filled eyes, “Somehow killing people for food seems so
wrong.”
“You don’t
have to kill to feed. You just had to kill these two because you were hungry.”
Kakarot sidled closer and slipped Chichi and friendly look.
Bulma
shooed him away and put an arm around Chichi, “Hey you know what? Maybe you
could only feed from bad people…you could be a crime fighting vamp that
disposes of bad guys roaming the street.” Bulma giggled, “Like a blood sucking
superwoman.” Chichi began to laugh too while Vegeta and Kakarot exchanged
confused look and shrugged.
Chichi
looked closely at Vegeta and Kakarot and stopped laughing; her curiosity piqued
again, “I thought all the vampires were eradicated? How did you two manage to
escape? Are there more of you running around?” Chichi glanced around the room
as if expecting more vampires to step out of the walls.
Vegeta
moved closer to Bulma and pulled her away from Chichi, “Most vampires were
eradicated, I and my counterpart, Kakarot are the only ones left…except for you
two. But you don’t really count as original vampires…no offence.”
Bulma leant
back into the warmth of Vegeta’s body and sighed, “None taken.”
Kakarot
copied Vegeta and moved closer to Chichi, managing to casually put an arm
around her. Chichi met Bulma’s eyes and they exchanged a knowing look.
“What was
that?” Vegeta’s eyes fastened on curtains blocking the window as a small
scratching sound emanated from them, he crept closer, “Did you hear that?”
“Hear
what?” Kakarot followed Vegeta and froze as he heard the sound too, “Is it
human?”
“No.”
Vegeta muttered back, “Whatever is hiding behind those curtains smells of
animal…a feline to be precise.”
“It’s a
cat?” Bulma watched as Vegeta carefully crept closer to the curtains, “Your not
going to kill a cat are you?” Vegeta nodded and Bulma, fuming strode over and
grabbed his hand, “You are not going to kill that cat, Vegeta!”
“Damn right
your not.” A small, high-pitched voice said.
Vegeta and
Bulma sprang back from the curtains and Kakarot hissed, drawing his lips back
from his fangs warningly as the curtains fluttered and something small and blue
flashed out.
“Who said
that?” Vegeta’s black eyes swept about the room and finally fastened on a small
blue cat who was levitating in the air,
“I did!”
The little cat pulled warily eyed Kakarot as he hissed again, “My name is Puar
and I’m a shape changer!”
“So what do
you want? A prize?” Vegeta smirked at Puar, who managed to glare back,
“I’m just
warning you not to try and kill me or I’ll change into something nasty!”
“Its ok.”
Bulma smiled kindly at the cat and managed to pull the tiny bundle into her
arms, “I wont let them hurt you.”
“You…”The
cat looked at Bulma as if it recognised her but Puar’s little mouth quickly
shut and she seemed to recover, “I mean, I am a shape changer and the only one
of my kind left.”
“You poor
thing.” Bulma let the little animal float a little distance away, “Don’t you
have any family?”
“Well I
used to…” The little animal managed to look incredibly sad, even though it was
a small blue, rabbit like cat; “But now we are all but extinct. I have come
here seeking sanctuary from the human hunters who would slay me for my pelt, in
the same way the hunters killed vampires for their teeth.”
Vegeta
snorted, “What makes you think I’d help you?”
“You’re a
fellow night creature…I simply assumed…”
“I don’t
think you should be assuming anything, pest.” Kakarot growled and circled
around to stand in front of Chichi, “I have heard of your kind before, often
you work with the humans to hunt vampires, so why should we believe you?”
“Because
it’s the truth.” Puar looked at Bulma who he identified as the one most likely
to help him, “Please…allow me sanctuary!”
“Kakarot,
stop growling please.” Bulma nodded at the cat and put her hand on the larger
vampires shoulder, then moved closer and liked his ear, “Shhh, I don’t think a
tiny cat will hurt us.”
Vegeta
growled as he watched Bulma flirt with Kakarot and glared at Puar, “Kakarot you
may stand down, the shape changer may stay.” He strode forward and grabbed
Bulma, glaring at Kakarot who looked at Bulma possessively before looking back
to Chichi.
Vegeta
nodded at Kakarot moved closer to the black haired one, threw a scowl at the
cat then carried Bulma out of the room; his boots stomping angrily down the
hall.
“Wow, he’s
kind of pent up isn’t he?” Chichi remarked as she watched Vegeta storm away,
“Not pent
up, just jealous, which he shouldn’t be since Bulma is rightfully mine.”
Kakarot shrugged and sighed then looked at Chichi playfully, “So what should we
do while were alone together?”
Chichi giggled
throatily and advanced towards him, pushing him onto the bed and crouching over
him, purring seductively as she pulled off his shirt and lent down to kiss him,
“How about I make you forget about Bulma?”
Puar
watched the two vampires for a moment longer before quietly slipping out of the
room and melting into the shadows.

Vegeta
pushed Bulma down on the bed and pulled his shirt over his head, closing his
eyes as Bulma ran hands down his chest,
“You have
an amazing body, my prince…” Bulma ran her tongue along his shoulder and kissed
him, her fingers tangling in his hair as he leant eagerly into the kiss.
Vegeta
groaned in the back of his throat and carefully lifted the dress over her head
and unsnapped her bra. He lowered his head to look at her, his cobalt eyes
taking in her shapely breasts,
“I can say
the same for you woman…” Vegeta looked into her blue eyes and managed a smile
that didn’t resemble a smirk, “…Bulma.”
He kissed
her again as his hands trailed off her underwear. Bulma laughed softly as
Vegeta ran appreciative hands up her long legs and wrapped them around her tiny
waist, “How could any man cheat on you?” Vegeta breathed into her hair and
Bulma pulled off his pants, and pulled him back on top of her,
“How did
you know that Yamcha…my old human mate cheated on me?” Bulma dug nails into
Vegeta’s back as he positioned himself at her entrance and thrust himself in,
“I have my
sources.” Vegeta grinned as Bulma moaned louder, “So woman, answer my question,
why did your mate cheat on you?”
Bulma
opened her eyes and looked up at Vegeta, “Because he’s only human.” She caught
Vegeta’s face in her hands and stared into his endless
Bulma
stared into Vegeta’s eyes as he continued to make love to her. She wrapped her
legs around his waist and clung on for dear life as he pushed himself deeper
and deeper into her. Bulma was dimly aware of her loud moans but unashamed.
She noticed
the way his eyes never left hers either, the way they held her as if she were
the most important thing in the universe. No man had looked at her this way…not
even Yamcha.
Bulma
moaned Vegeta’s name as he began to move faster and faster within her, his
hard, deep thrusts taking her to a whole new level of pleasure and she screamed
aloud in pure ecstasy as her body climaxed.
Vegeta gave
one more thrust into her, his fully black and impassioned eyes taking in
Bulma’s tightly shut eyes, her expression of bliss and arched back in a mere
second, then he too howled in pleasure and allowed the carnal satisfaction he
felt in taking a woman to fully wash over him.
As they lay
together afterwards, their limbs sweaty and tangled, Vegeta realised that this
changing vampire, this woman was indeed the one for him. She was his true mate.

Meanwhile,
outside the castle walls a small blue shadow was making it’s way back to the
city and to his master; the most feared and well known vampire hunter in the
land.
